We here at the Garibaldi Marina enjoy the honor of exposing the beauty of our natural resources to our local high school students. For more than a handful of years now we have taken part in Neah-Kah-Nie High Schools Marine Biology class by taking the class on a tour of Tillamook Bay.
We start with a quick tour and exploration of local wildlife

Seals on Seal Island

Over to the clam beds!

Found one!!!

I told you I'm a bird dog!

A big thank you to Beth Giengers class for doing such a great job of educating these kids to the beauty of nature around them and giving us the opportunity to be involved. We had a great time and hope this great class did as well! |
